A trip to Kerteminde

This was the first town that Jorgen took us to today. While there we enjoyed homemade ice cream with a meringue like mixture on top and a common danish pastry (which I can't remember the name of but it is the flaky long pastry with icing drizzled over the top and filled with marzipan and nougat pictured below in the pastry pics-it was amazing). We also visited a quaint little store that had all sorts of fun little knick knacks like doll house furniture, cabinet pulls, baskets, danish signs, etc. We also drove around the neighborhoods and drooled over the absolutely adorable rows of houses.
